June 21 – August 3- Stanford Jazz Workshop, Palo Alto, CA

Each year, the best of the best come to perform at the Stanford Jazz Workshop and this year is no exception. Coolest highlights this year include a return pairing of vocalist Lisa Fischer and pianist Taylor Eigsti, who were electrifying in 2017 on July 20 and 15-year-old wunderkind pianist Joey Alexander, who Wynton Marsalis calls HIS hero (July 21). Taylor Eigsti returns with his group on July 30.

June 28-30 – 3rd Annual San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival, San Diego, CA

The San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival unites music lovers from around the world at the picturesque site of Embarcadero Marina Park North in the San Diego Marina. This annual event combines the soothing sounds of smooth jazz, a variety of delicious cuisine, and an amazing atmosphere that creates an unparalleled experience. This 3-day extravaganza begins with a dinner cruise aboard the Hornblower yacht Inspiration featuring Althea Rene & Selina Albright. Saturday features Boney James, West Coast Jam with Richard Elliot, Peter White & DW3, Kirk Whalum & Jonathan Butler, Brian Simpson & Jazmin Ghent and Tony Exum Jr. Sunday is an all-out lovefest with Eric Darius, Norman Brown, Sax to the Max with Michael Lington, Vincent Ingala & Paul Taylor, Monty Seward and Mariea Antoinette!

July 6 – 2nd Annual Brass City Jazz Fest, Waterbury, CT

If you’re looking for some fun this weekend, have I got a festival for you! Head on over to Waterbury for a FREE festival called the Brass City Jazz Fest, featuring Billboard charting artist sMarion Meadows, Adam Hawley, Marcus Anderson, Paula Atherton, Althea Rene, Jeanette Harris, Carol Albert, Sean Uliasz, along with CT’s own Steve Clarke Band, Ray Santovasi Four Peace and Nekita Waller.

July 10 – Christian De Mesones CD Release Party, Blues Alley, Washington, DC

Join Christian at Blues Alley on July 10 for his CD Release Party & Birthday Bash! Christian will be performing songs from his debut solo project, ‘They Call Me Big New York,’ scheduled for release on 7/16/2019. Advance copies available at the show. Music City Jazz Festival is more than an outdoor concert, it’s an event!
